This interesting full day program is a combination of The Rafflesia Tour and the Mossy Forest of Gunung Brinchang. We do NOT take advance bookings for this tour as these flowers are seasonal. Please call us on arrival in the Cameron Highlands, to check on availability of this unique tour  
 
The journey begins with a 45 minutes drive to the Rafflesia site, then about an hour and half trek in the Hill Dipterocarp forest, to see the Rafflesia flower, where you will be amazed to see one of the largest flowers in the world. These giant flowers will last only 4 to 5 days. Sometimes there won’t be any blooms for many months! Along the way we will make a short stop at one of the many creeks for a break before proceeding to an Orang Asli Village, where our guide will help you understand more about their lifestyle, weapons, tools, musical instruments. A Blowpipe demonstration will also be conducted. We will then have a lunch stop at Kampung Raja village (lunch is on your own)  
 
The journey then continues with a short commentary stop at the Sungai Palas Tea Plantation before visiting the Oldest Tea Factory in Malaysia; here a tour of the factory will be conducted by our guide. Then drive to Gunung Brinchang, the highest mountain in Cameron Highlands! An interpretive walk into the Mossy Forest will reveal some of the most of unique forest flora of this mountain like the carnivorous Pitcher Plant, primitive Ferns, wild Orchids, Ti trees & Rhododendrons. A short drive up the mountain, you can enjoy the magnificent view of Cameron Highlands from the view tower at 6666 feet above sea level.
